What is it with Football? Am i suppose to be crazy about it too, after all.. almost all Mizos are crazy about it. Well, I too once try to like and watch a Football game during the last World Cup.. whenever i sit infront of the TV to watch the game, i get sleepy; the sound of the crowds cheering puts me to sleep. So, trust me I tried but failed... i'm never gonna try it again. Its plain and simple, i don't like Football... I don't like watching it either.
Cold tea.. eww. To me, a cold tea is not a tea at all. I can't drink it, i can't force myself to drink it neither. I don't like tea that much so, when i'm served with a cup of tea, it should be hot, hot. Some like it cold, some like it hot, i'm one of them who likes it very hot. I prefer coffee to tea anyway. Btw, i don't like tea with a very strong smell of milk :)
Milk.. don't know why i dislike Milk so much. The only time i can remember myself drinking milk was when i was just a little girl, my dad forced me to drink it.. thats the only time. Even now, i don't know how it taste like.. i guess it taste dull. Mom told me that even as a child i don't like milk at all. But, on the other hand i like dhoi & lassi which are made from milk.

wowwwww!!!! You're the first Mizo I have met who prefer coffee over tea!!!!! And here I was thinking I am the only one. Thank God for thattt!!! I was brought up in South India, so coffee has always been a part of my daily ritual since I was small. Now it is very much a part of my system, and I hate tea :)
Football and madness:
I grew up "liking" and playing football because everyone was suppose to love football. And around 2001, with a few mizos emerging at the national level, the fervor went up and so was mine.
During my 3rd year in college. I suddenly asked myself. "Why do i care if Manchester or chelsea won a match?? " I don't know anyone in the team personally and it has no direct consequence on my life.
And what i thought was.. maybe its because of directing out attention to these kind of useless activities that our society is so dormant intellectually. Take a local newspaper and read the "analysis" of politics or economics by our so called experts and most of the time, its a joke. There's a Howl about corruption everyday but not a single proposal for a transparent govt which shows our lack of intellect when it comes to things that matter in our lives. On the other hand there's no shortage of erudite analysis of a football game which is in my opinion ..USELESS.
